AKS U13 Girls Cricketers through to Lancashire Cup Finals Day

The AKS Girls U13 Cricket team have progressed through to Lancashire Cup Finals Day after excellent performances in the North Lancashire event. The girls had great results and built their confidence over the course of the day, culminating in them winning the final.

The girls enjoyed the challenge of matching up against some of the best cricketers for their age in the County and “found a way”, showing excellent teamwork, perseverance and skill the entire day. Standout performances came at the top of the order to consistently give excellent starts to our batting, as well as bowling some crucial overs across the matches. Some excellent all rounders, who made valuable contributions in every game.

The girls will now begin preparing for the big day on Tuesday 25th of March, to be held at Bolton Arena.
