The U13s faced a good Scarisbrick side in a competitive match. Scarisbrick started brightly, exposing gaps in AKS’s defence to build a 4-2 lead at halftime. AKS scored two well crafted tries, demonstrating their ability to move the ball effectively and create space in attack.
The second half was closely contested, with both teams scoring four tries each. AKS impressed with their attacking play, using quick ball movement to break open Scarisbrick’s defence. However, defensive lapses, particularly in wide areas, proved costly. Improved defensive alignment and moving as one will be a key focus area for the squad moving forward.
